Foi durante a sessão solene de encerramento do Ano Legislativo, na manhã do dia 15 de dezembro.
No decorrer da solenidade, que contou com a presença dos vereadores eleitos, foi feita a apresentação do Relatório de Atividades dos quatro anos da legislatura, em que os vereadores apresentaram diversas proposições de interesse da coletividade santamariense. O documento traz, entre outras informações, o número de proposituras apresentadas. Ao todo, foram apresentadas 569 proposições entre requerimentos, indicações, moções, projetos de leis, projetos de resoluções e projetos de decretos, entre outros, nas 170 sessões realizadas na Casa.
A casa volta a se reunir doa 1° de janeiro para a posse e eleição da mesa diretora.
